The webinar is targeted at ABA professionals, as well as students of, and all people interested in Applied Behavior Analysis. Behavior analysts may earn 1 CEUs (Learning), psychologists may earn 1 CE.The field of behavior analysis consists of three branches: the science —The Experimental Analysis of Behavior (TEAB); the philosophy — radical behaviorism; and the applied branch — Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Without the experimental foundation, the other two branches of behavior analysis would not exist. The webinar will demonstrate that ABA practitioners are most effective when they are well-trained and conversant in TEAB. Dr. Schlinger will (1) describe what TEAB is, (2) present a brief history of TEAB and the origin of the term analysis, (3) point out that most, if not all, early applied behavior analysts had strong backgrounds in TEAB, and (4) describe how a solid foundation in TEAB can improve the efficacy of ABA practitioners. |
